The welcome we received exceeded our expectations.

Despite the warm hospitality, staying at Kyo-Anthu Inn wasn't without challenges. The noise from the air conditioning was bothersome and took me time to acclimate to. Moreover, the location, while close to a subway station, felt very distant from major attractions, adding to our travel frustrations.

Staying at Kyo-Anthu Inn felt like home. Emiko and her family were incredibly welcoming. They helped with everything from making restaurant reservations to providing a ride to the train station. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with an electric kettle and a flat-screen TV. Breakfast was delightful, with various options that kept us energized for exploring Kyoto. We loved the peaceful ambiance and the comfy beds. However, waiting for public transport took longer than expected, which can be a downside if you’re in a hurry. Overall, the service and hospitality made up for any minor inconveniences.

The hosts provided exceptional service, greeting me warmly each day and even offering a ride to the station on my final day. The location is a prime spot, close to several must-see attractions and a bus stop that makes exploring easy. The room was spacious for my luggage, and I appreciated the cleanliness of both the room and bathroom. Many charming local shops nearby enriched my visit.

The noise from the air conditioning unit was quite bothersome during my stay.
